Event Schedule:
11:00 AM – Chamber 101 (New Member Orientation): Meet Chamber staff and learn strategies to maximize your membership benefits.
12:00 PM – Speed Networking (Open to All Members): Fast-paced networking with local business professionals to build valuable connections.
1:00 PM – Professional Development Workshop (Open to All Members): Michael Oppenheim, Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
An SBDC is a national network that provides free, confidential business consulting and low-cost training to aspiring and current entrepreneurs. Operating through a partnership between the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), state governments, and local universities, they help business owners secure funding, write business plans, and scale operations.
Michael Oppenheim is the Area Manager for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) located in Flagler County. He has been with the SBDC for close to 11 years and was an executive at two different Fortune 500 companies before joining SBDC. The purpose of the SBDC is to foster small business growth, sustainability, and job creation by providing high-quality, no-cost counseling and low-cost training to entrepreneurs.
